Dusty Carter believes that music is the answer to your problems.
A Bay Area native, representing the California West Coast, Dusty brings the deep, funky, disco house beats. His love for the 1’s and 2’s started with his first turntables in 1996. In 2000, he started Delta Funk Productions, where he began throwing and promoting monthly after-hours parties, filling the dance floors in the underground house scene. He believes that music should bring happiness and unite all people through the journey of sound. A purveyor of funky beats and all their bliss, Dusty’s playful approach to sound has allowed him to create a vibe that transcends expectations, coast to coast. Performing at festivals such as BPM, Burning Man, and Coachella, as well as regular appearances in top clubs such as Public Works, Audio SF, Temple, Club Six, and Mighty in San Francisco, TBA in Brooklyn, and Sublevel in Los Angeles. His musical influences include Doc Martin, Wally Callerio, Gene Farris, Roy Davis Jr., Marques Wyatt and Mark Farina.
Shout out and much love to my Delta Funk and San Francisco based Kazbah crew.
