Sasha

Sasha (Alexander Coe) is a Welsh DJ and producer who has been a central figure in progressive house and techno since the late 1980s. He first drew attention at Manchester’s Haçienda before a long residency at New York’s Twilo and the partnership with John Digweed that produced the Northern Exposure and Renaissance mix series. His productions include the club staple ‘Xpander’ and the ambient album ‘Scene Delete’, released through Late Night Tales. In 2011 he founded the label Last Night On Earth, which also runs as an event series and monthly radio show. Voted DJ Mag’s number one DJ in 2000, he continues to tour internationally, both solo and alongside Digweed.
