Malive

Malive is a Brazilian DJ and producer from Rio de Janeiro whose house music combines classic house structures with modern production, sweeping synths and soulful vocal samples. He first drew attention as a teenager through award-nominated work and collaborations within Brazil’s hip hop scene before moving into electronic music. His releases have appeared on labels including Defected, Diynamic, MoBlack, Kompakt, Monaberry and Madorasindahouse, with support from Solomun, Keinemusik, Carlita and Pete Tong. In 2025 he collaborated with Jonas Blue on Edge Of Desire, recorded for a Defected In The House livestream. He has performed at Tomorrowland, Zamna, Day Zero, Pacha and Keinemusik showcases, as well as Brazilian venues such as D-Edge and Laroc.
